My name is Aaron Loukes. I am a K-12 Physical Education Teacher and the Ski Team Head Coach at Lin-Wood Public School. I grew up in Williston, Vermont, which is just outside of Burlington. I went to college at Plymouth State and loved New Hampshire and everything it has to offer. The ocean to the mountains, it truly is an amazing state. I always enjoyed participating in athletics and the culture that surrounds it. That is one of the biggest reasons I became a physical education teacher and coach. I love being a physical education teacher at Lin-Wood, the students are wonderful and love to be active. The surrounding area is something that the students take advantage of, whether it be skiing at the Kanc or Loon Mountain or walking and biking around town. At Lin-Wood it is “Always a great day for PE!”
My Education and Professional Background:
I graduated from Plymouth State College (now PSU) with my Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education in 1992 and went on to get my Master of Education degree in Athletic Administration in 1999. While at Plymouth State I was on the baseball team from 1989-1990 and the alpine ski team from 1989-1992. I have coached several sports at Lin-Wood soccer, skiing and baseball.
