My name is Kristie Morris I am a Middle School English Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher at Lin-Wood Public School. I am a mother of 3 boys who all attend or have attended LWPS.  I am the President of the Booster Club and I'm on the School's Wellness Committee.  I love to read, spend time with my family, and collect sand dollars at the beach.  I love teaching grade 6 ELA and Social Studies because I love to watch kids grow and learn.  I love watching them get excited about learning.  I love working with my colleagues in the Middle School.

My Education and Professional Background:

I attended Castleton State University in Castleton, VT.  I graduated in 1992.  This will be my 32nd year in education.  I hold a Bachelors +15.  I was awarded a Master in the Middle award from New England League of Middle Schools in 2019.  I began my teaching career at the Warren Village School teaching Title I and Special Education.  I then switched to grade 6 at WVS.  I started at LWPS in 1998.  I have been teaching 6th grade here ever since.
