Courtney Busnach, 2nd Grade
My name is Courtney Busnach, and I have been a teacher for as long as I can remember! I grew up as the oldest of six in my family, and have been taking care of children since I could walk. I always knew that I would settle into a career that involved helping children and families. It is my opinion that all students are capable of learning, growing, and succeeding. My goal is to serve as a model for my students-urging them to be adventurous, curious, resourceful, pensive, and perpetual learners.
My Education and Professional Background:
My love for teaching and learning has provided me with so many opportunities to help others. Therefore, my experiences in education range greatly; from working at a pre-school in high school, to substitute teaching in Billerica, Massachusetts during college, and finally completing my student teaching in kindergarten here at Lin-Wood in 2014 to earn my Bachelor of Science degree from Plymouth State University in Childhood Studies K-8. Upon receiving my teaching certificate I have taught in public elementary schools in the southern part of NH and in the closer surrounding areas such as Sandwich Central School (second and third grade multiage), Inter-Lakes Elementary School (Summer B.L.A.S.T. program), Ashland Elementary School*, and residential facilities: Mount Prospect Academy and NFI Davenport School, with students in grades 6-12. I have also worked at Little Antlers in Plymouth with infants and up to age 5! Most recently, I taught for three years at Ashland Elementary School *(two years in kindergarten, one year in first and second grade multiage). I cannot express my excitement to return to the Lin-Wood community and see what this adventure has in store!
