Hello! My name is Emily White and I currently teach second grade here at Lin-Wood Elementary. This is my second year teaching here and I love it! I enjoy coming to work each day and interacting with all of the students and staff members here at school. Growing up I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. My mom also teaches second grade and I loved going into her classroom and helping out whenever I could. I am extremely grateful to finally have a classroom of my own. My husband and I have two rescue dogs named Parker and Luna at home. We love to take them for long hikes and walks together. I also enjoy skiing and spending time on the lake with my family.
My Education and Professional Background:
I graduated from Framingham State University with my B.S in Early Childhood Education and a focus in English Language Arts. Before coming to Lin-Wood I worked at a school in Central Massachusetts as a special education paraprofessional. I later moved to New Hampshire where I continued to work as a paraprofessional at Holderness Central School. Now, I am here at Lin-Wood!
