My name is Heidi Carter. I am the Title One Reading and Math teacher for the early elementary grades here at Lin-Wood Public School. I love teaching small groups to build upon classroom learning and supporting in classrooms as well.
My Education and Professional Background:
I attended Keene State College and completed a B.S. degree in Elementary and K-8 Special Education.
I started teaching at Lin-Wood Public School in 1986 right out of college as a K-6 Special Education teacher for the first ten years. I then taught in the classroom as a fourth grade teacher for many years including a couple of years as a third grade teacher as well. Since the Fall of 2019, I have also enjoyed being the elementary Reading and Math Title One teacher.
