Joanna Boisseau, Intervention Coordinator
Hello, my name is Joanna Boisseau. I am the Intervention Coordinator at Lin-Wood Public School. I have been in education in the North Country for over two decades. I love my work in the mountains with students of all ages. Our home is located in Bethlehem, NH and I love the daily travels through Franconia Notch and its beautiful landscape. Working with students and their families in the best interest of their child is my passion. I strongly believe in community and connection with one another can move mountains. When I am not teaching I can be found either on the soccer sidelines cheering my kids on or adventuring in the mountains myself.
My Education and Professional Background:
My educational journey started in St. Johnsbury, Vt as a speech and language assistant. From there it was clear to me that I should go back to school and continue my education; I completed my Masters of Education at Johnson State University in 2007. My husband and I took a year to ski bum around the west, but then landed at the White Mountain School as the Director of the Learning Center. During Covid I transitioned to public classroom teaching at Bethlehem Elementary School. While there I worked on my Orton Gillingham Certification to support students in reading and started my ESOL certification, which I am still currently working on through NHTI. I am so excited to transition to LInwood Elementary School and its amazing community!
