Subject: Seeking Community Representatives: Lincoln-Woodstock Elementary Advisory Committee
Dear Community Members,
Following the voter-approved Warrant Article at our recent district meeting, the School Board is establishing a temporary Elementary Advisory Committee. The committee is charged with reviewing elementary school structures—specifically evaluating multi-age/multi-grade classroom models and optimal teacher-to-student ratios—to proactively address declining enrollment while staying aligned with our District Strategic Plan.
This committee will balance educational excellence with the economic and operational realities facing our towns. Because the long-term sustainability of our schools directly affects our entire community, having the voices of local taxpayers and community members at the table is vital.
The School Board is seeking community representatives from both Lincoln and Woodstock to serve alongside parents, teachers, and administrators.
Commitment & Timeline:

Summer: 1–2 working sessions (July/August)

Fall: 3 working sessions (September–November)

Goal: Finalize a non-binding report of findings and recommendations for the School Board by January 1, 2027.
