As Elementary Reading Specialist and Title 1 Reading Recovery teacher, I specialize in helping students learn to read and write. We all know that effective reading and writing are important for success in many aspects of our lives. Everything from shopping lists to maintenance manuals to term papers requires the use of these critical literacy skills. My goal at Lin-Wood is to help each student develop his or her own abilities and master the key literacy skills she or he needs to succeed every day. This section is designed to showcase resources in reading and writing. My hope is that both parents and students will use them to expand their experiences in both reading and writing, always remembering to have fun along the way!
